is centon ram garbage?

well, it is a cas2.0 type and i can hit 148 FSB with an unlocked 1800+ @11 multi.


i am wondering if i can increase my FSB with getting a better name brand like corsair pc 3000, if so how much more do you think i can go?

Well I've had Centon RAM before and it was reliable for years at stock, so I wouldn't call it garbage, but never tried overclocking it. If it's only meant to be PC2100 then you're doing okay.

centon usually has Samsung or Nanya chips, and O/C's quite well.

it's reliable and all mine has done 133-145 FSB CL2 no probs.

is centon gargage?

i have cento right now and don't do to bad at overclocking.
this has been the highest i can go. the cpu ios still locked.
