How is it that the Death Penalty thread in the debate forum can have only 67 views and yet have 207 replies? This has got to be the best view/reply ratio on the whole site. Usually if you get 10% it's doing good, but 309% is amazing.

It shouldn't be possible because everytime you post a message you reload the page so shouldn't it add another view or am I getting the meaning of view screwed up. Is it unique?

Another trip? He just went to Tahoe a few weeks ago. Where did he go this time?

Orlando but it wasn't a vacation. It was for work.

It was a confrence right? They put those in cool places just so people can enjoy the things there like sometimes there are at the beach. Did you go to Disney World?

Probably was a merged thread. The thread takes the properties of the the original thread.

But you cant have more replies than views, because once you click the thread to read it to reply doesnt it add another view to the cound as well as a reply?

Well, your right. It is a merged thread because I posted something about the death penalty and it was merged.

Yeah, but it takes the properites from the thread that you're merging the other into and applies that to the thread. The stuff that is determined by variables within the thread (posts, who posted, taht kind of thing) is updated cause it has somethign to check. Views are not, cause there isn't anything to check aside from a varialbe that's updated when somebody clicks the link. And the merging function doesn't add those together.
