I did a search and found some PC3200 Samsung memory... Are these legit? Or are they overclocked PC2700s? Anyone own one of these? Care to comment on what you have gotten it to do? Thanks!

The PC3200 is remarked 2700 as Yodelums said. Mushkin and Corsair also use the same Samsung PC2700 chips but the PCB they use is slightly better. If you want really fast ram try PC3000 or PC3200 mushkin. I was able to get my PC3000 Mushkin up to 220 MHz with stock voltage.

Depends where you saw it.
If it was sr-systems it's not.
Samsung is supposed to be shipping 3200(ddr400) now.

Real Samsung 3200 is NOT for sale anywhere as of today. Should be out in a few weeks according to my Smasung rep.

i got mushkin 3000 and cant get it to 155. it gives me PAGE FAULT
errors. it's fine at 151, but my crucial did 155.

Star fox are you sure its your ram? I know a lot of things don't like much over 150+. My IBM GXP60 doesn't like anything over 160. I bet its not your ram unless you got a bad stick. Thats not even running rated speed so something is wrong.

hmm, I guess I'll just buy a real stick of Samsung PC2700.... I hear they can do 200fsb (400fsb effective) pretty easy.....
Make sure you only run one stick @ a time of 256Mb...& on the chips you'll have a B3 on the end of the code....(meaning-6ns)

im pretty sure as i had everything in my rig at 166fsb at one
time. the only thing changed was the ram

hmm, i found a decent corsari pc2700 xms and bought that instead... right now it's doing DDR408 (204FSB) at CAS 2.5...

good enough for 3000+ memory scores in sisoft... =)

I sorta want to switch to RDRAM tho... Just need rdram pc1200 and i can keep my p4 at 2.4ghz..
