I have 1 IBM ATA100 on my IDE channel #1 and 2 Maxtor ATA133 on IDE channel #3 and #4 (I set them as RAID-0).

I only know how to check if my IDE #1 is on DMA 5. The Sandra HD score is 26500 which is over the reference ATA100 score of 24000.

However, the score of my RAID-0 is only 29000 which is way bellow the reference ATA100 RAID-0 score of 36000.

I would like to check if my 2 Maxtor HDs are on DMA 5 or not. But I dont know how to check it. I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to check it or anyone know why my RAID-0 is so slow.

Thanks a lot!!!

Sandra has a horrible disk benchmark...especially when it comes to RAID arrays. Try using something like Intel's IOMeter, ATTO or HDTach for benchmarking.

For reference, you should be able to enter the RAID BIOS at boot and see what mode your drives are running at.

Thank you for the advise!!

My board came with raid drivers and software. All I have to do is check the software from windows to see what mode my dirves are in, or check the Raid bios.
