rdram... device?

I was looking for new rdram. I see there are many different types. The thing i dont understand is what is the deference between 8-device, 4-device, 16-device,ext. What r they? Whats better?

it depends on the size of the sticks, for 256meg sticks all the guys with high overclocks have 16-device, for 128meg sticks the 8 device are best (i think)

the device is the physical black part of the chip that stores the memory. the more devices the less on each chip and this allows for more stable ram and better overclockign ability
