how does Crucial PC2100 stack up against Samsung PC2700?

heard some people say that their Crucial ran better than their Samsung. I know the chips speeds are different but I am not running anything near a 166FSB. so the Samsung doesn't run any faster FSB wise than PC2100 because I am not running it any faster.

how does the Crucial compare at the same speed settings?

I am thinking of changing to Crucial.

If you're only going to be stock with it then I see no need for PC2700.

So far all the Crucial I have does 166MHz with enough voltage and I haven't seen any other PC2700, at the same speed, get better results. It stomps the KingMax PC2700 I have.

i have a stick of Samsun PC2700 doing 180MHz (don't remember exactly....) w/ fastest timing on my P4 system. and i've seen they could do 200MHz or a little more 208MHz @ slow timing!!

depending on what u need, and what memory divider u gonna run.....

The samsung only did 244mhz
