Hi guys I need to know what to set my bank interleaving to in the bios I have a single stick of corsair xms pc3000 256mb ram... I can choose between 2,4,Disabled,Auto... which should I choose and why?

Hi,

It depends on the internal architecture of the stick.. (#of banks) but 90% you can set it to 4 for max. performance. If it works at 4 it will give better performance than 2 which will give better performance than one, so try it out... (you wont spend more than 5 minutes).
If you want to verify that you are effectively 'winning' something, try sandra memory benchmark

Regards

From this article right here at overclockers.com:

"Memory interleaving is a way to get your machine to access your memory banks simultaneously, rather than sequentially."

A more detailed description of interleaving itself from Advantage memory here.
