Ok, my computer crashed a few days ago, so I am on my back-up.
I kept getting errors when trying to install windoze 98. I formatted, fdisk'd till the cows came home.
Changed out hd's, floppy drive, cd-roms, cpu, mb, etc.
Windows would not install until I replaced my radeon 8500 with an older Viper 2 and took out the 256 stick of ram.
So now 98 installs, no errors.
Now I am running the program from www.simmtester.com to test the memory. I tested the stick of 128 and it passed. I then tested the 256 stick and it passed. I then tested 384 and it passed. So I ran a loop of 10 and passed.

Would it be "safe" to say the ram is good???

Have you tried putting the stick back into your main computer...? Or is that what you did, and it worked?

The two sticks, 1-256 and 1-128 are both in there now.
I guess I should have "looped" them separately.

What do ya think?
