How much a difference is there between the 2? is it worth is goin to PC300?

Basicly what Corsair does is test every one of thier memory chips. Too make sure that they can run at the advertised speed. Some chips run faster than others. The chips that don't quite cut it get tossed in with the PC2100 stuff. PC2700 that does real real well get upgraded and sold as PC3000. There is no PC300 spec so they set the eprom same as PC2700 but they are garunteeing that the PC3000 will overclock to 185MHz @ cas2-3-3-T1

Hope this helps

Also keep in mind that if you're going to buy corsair, the "value select" memory they sell is rated cas2.5 while they rest are rated at cas2.

Just my 2cents word.:D :D :D

If you're looking to squeeze every last mhz out of your memory then buy the cas2 memory. It's only a few $$ more.
