IBM 60GXP weird stuff

My IBM 60GXP 40GB drive has been taking a little longer to spin up, and seems a little noisier at the same time. I wonder if the motor is just wearing in and this is normal or is it starting to fail?

It still runs fast, but the noise and spin up times worry me.
