Question on what this mean in Bios?

hey in my Bios, i have an option that says..

HALT ON and some of the options are

disk/keyboard
all errors
no errors
disk

etc..

what does this mean..

because i think this may have been teh cause of my system not booting up.. or my monitor turning on when disk/keyboard was on.. now its on all errors.. thanks

It means your system will HALT on start up if it detects an error on any of the things you selected.
