IDE 3&4 troubles on BE6-II

XP always blue screens when I connect a hard drive to it. I tried installing different drivers, but that made it even worse. I had to disable them via BIOS to boot up

the book says pci slot 3 shares irq signal with the hpt366 ide controller. says win nt doesn't allow shared irq signals but not sure if xp does (newer system than board) might want to make sure nothing in slot 3.

Didn't work. I think I need to uninstall those ddrivers I tried earlier

Fixed it. Reinstalled XP and installed the correct drivers from Highpoint's site

Bah. My IRQ's are conflicting now. How can I change the IRQ settings in XP? Taking the cards out didn't work for me
