posting pics

I Know I should be able to find out how to do this but,
how do you insert a picture, I tried but it won't go into my post.

edit: oops that didnt work, it tried to post an immage
had to put spaces between the letters

The link part is what I dont get, I have a pic,
C:\......\picture 068.jpg how do I link to it? Or do I have to attach it to the post? HELP:confused:

if it's on your hard drive, it should be attached to the post. it can only be linked from a website. the only way to post a pic as a link is if you have a webserver on your computer.

It goes like this.....

If the picture is on your hard drive, you can attach it when you post, by using the "Attach File" box just below the text entry box.

If the picture is on the web, then you can link to it using the [img] tags........
