I know that the P4S533 supports DDR333, which it lists as PC2700. My question is does that mean it also supports PC3200 DDR memory? Both are 333mhz RAM so I would assume so, but I figured I should ask anyways. Also, is there really a benefit to go with PC3000 or PC3200 DDR over PC2700 if they are all 333mhz? I do video encoding and RAM performance is very important towards that effort...

Ddr 333 or 2700 just means it's rated to run at 167mhz.
Ddr 3000 183mhz
Ddr 3200 200mhz

You can use any if you want in a ddr 2100 board but unless it's ran at a faster rate then you get no gain.

The P4s533 will allow the memory to run at 166 or 200mhz with the cpu at 100 or 133mhz.

Some 2700ddr will overclock to 3200+ but it's not guaranteed.

Addendum: I'm leaning towards the P4B533 now because it supports fixed AGP/PCI which I like, but it says it only supports PC2100/PC1600. However it supports 166mhz/200mhz FSB, so does that mean I can still run say PC3000@200mhz?

Last time I paid close attention to hardware was buying my Abit KT7-RAID which was SDRAM, there wasn't much to it back then, everything is confusing now :)

It's a intel 845e chipset board and it probably allows the memory to run at 166 with the cpu at 133 but I doubt 200.
If it does it would be the first intel chipset board to do so.

If you plan to use a 1.6a or 2.26a cpu then if you hit a 150fsb
you can probably still run the memory at +33mhz or 183mhz.

Depends how the memory-fsb ratio's are set up at higher fsb's.
It would be best to check with someone who has the board as to what options are available at different fsb speeds or it might say in the manual if there is one for download. A review site might give this information but most don't say much about this.
