I am running power to the cpu fan off of the power supply. I didn't have a fan with rpm monitoring to use on the cpu, so I don't have anything on the cpu power terminal or the fan sensor. I need to jump this out to get it to P.O.S.T.

Can I use a jumper plug on these terminals or would that be a direct short without any type of resistance?

Need suggestions. Thanks.

I can't get into the bios. I don't get any video. I thought it was because of this fan sensor for the cpu on the moterboard. Everything seems to start (except video) then shuts down. I thought it was the safety feature because it didn't see the fan.
