I am going to be running a projector and a T.V plus a V.C.R off
of it.
The ? is I can cool a my case well, yet that card just gets so hot, I don't knowif it's supposed to or if it's just not wanting to be cooled.
I need suggestions, No water cooling please, I really like fans.

Are you running the 'original' AIW card?

I have the ATI rage 128 pro, I think the problem is my $2 mobo.
Don't laugh but it's a AK12 from Shuttle.
I think its the APG slot, because now my Nvida tnt pro card isn't working.
Still if you know anything about oc'ing the ATI rage please let me know and let me know how to cool it once I hook it all back up.
Thankx

And what projector are you connecting this to, and via what physical video connection?
Make sure ur not over volting the AGP slot. For overclocking it, use either powerstrip if u have WIN XP or Rage Tweak with ne 9.x os. I'm cooling mine with a 486 heatsink attached to the core. I have basically the same rage128 pro chip.

I have not bought it yet because I can't even get the stupid card to work, my Nvidia ran for about a week before it quit, I want to thank the person who has the same card as I yet you have to talk more layman than that, I do not know anything about voltage, could that stop the card from working?
Sorry I am very brand new.
Well on some motherboards there are voltage adjustments for the AGP slot. Some ppl up the voltage to increase stability. The AGP slot might be feeding the card too much power.
OH yeh, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!.

Thank you forthe welcome, I was doing as I was told and reading the mobo book. It shows the abilty to set the PC! slot speed up to 100 MHZ were it is now, by no AGP Voltage set.
This is great because I wouldn't doubt that's why the card isn't working.
Is there a way to test this or to view what the voltage is on the APG slot?
