View Full Version : Q about micro architecture
this might sound silly.. but what is .13u mircon?...and how does it differ from .18?
Basically it refers to the size of the transistors in the core. The smaller they are the faster they can switch while usuing less power to do so.

and that equals less heat :D , just to give you an idea of the size their working with here, a human hair is 100 microns in diameter and the wavelength of light is somewhere around .15u i think!
