Personally, I'd have gone AMD and DDR ram. But putting that aside, it looks pretty good. Mabey Klipsch 5.1's though. And you may want to get a bigger psu.

Klipsch's LOL. I guess I give you the impression that I'm very wealthy! Im not...and I can not afford Klipsch's, not even 2.1s...lol. Anyway, i am not much of an audiophile anyway and ill look into the PS Situation, anyone wanna reccomend one to me?

I'm not an Intel kind of guy so I may not be right. But shouldn't you buy a 100MHz FSB CPU if you want to overclock an Intell cpu?

Also won't you get a higher overclock with PC2700 DDR ram instead of RDRAM?

RDRAM Has Better Performance, Equal or better overclocking, scores better on benchmarks. Well a 2.26B I have heard from various people get 3 ghz with some air cooling, even 2800, 3100, etc. I say with liquid cooling and a fantastic mobo, that locks the pci/agp bus, I can get much higher. A 533 Bus Works Wonders and Maximizes the performance of PC1066 RDRAM (Which I Am overclocking, hope I clear things up!

Well, you're right and your wrong in a couple of ways about the FSB. In any normal board you want a higher multiplier since most boards have limited FSB. But since the TH7 can have it's fSB set up to 255 MHz (I think), it's actually better that he got the 533 FSB P4.

Here's why:

The one he is getting has a multiplier of 17, the regular 2.2s have a multiplier of 22. If he wants 3 GHz, look what happens:

17 * 176.5 MHz ~ 3000 MHz

22 * 137 MHZ ~ 3000 MHz

Same speed, top one has more FSB. :)

So, the conclusion comes down to: If you have high FSB capability, get the new P4s, if you are limited, get the regular Northwoods.

How Are RaidMax PSUs?

Nice choice on the video card. I have an eVGA TI4400 and love it. Cheapest thing around, and they ahave good support, it does VIVO, and it overclocks to 300/700 WITHOUT ram sinks.

Looks like a good system, although personally i would like to geta slightly cheaper CPU (personally i would go AMD), but im not going to talk you out of it) and go for 512mb RAM. But if you really want the 3000mhz... You could also swap the TI4600 for a TI4400 and get the extra 256mb ram with that.

Havent heard of raidmax, but if you dont want enermax antec makes a good PSU.

wyrmaster, there is 512, at the end it says 2x (256x2=512)
