yes its all home made cept the heater core its from a 1990 f150 v6 model
and the res is just tuper ware

and thats not a lan i took to my high school
thats one of the comp labs
it has 28 1000mhz pIII dells
Looks good, although I'd have the res on the floor, cut down on some tubing.

JFettig

adamtekh
06-11-02, 10:18 AM
plumpers goop. actualy i used it alot on this project
works very well
takes a while to cure
Hey, whatever works, buddy!
That's a nice "chilly" looking setup with that big F150 heatercore...you get a better overclock with all that cooling power?
JFettig
06-11-02, 11:09 AM

adamtekh
06-11-02, 01:46 PM

06-11-02, 10:48 PM
yah i was reading the same thing lol... wat the heck water cooling on an mmx200?? woah i didnt even think those thinks need much cooling. they probably putout as much heat as the new mobo chipsets lol.
Adam tech, just one question?? why not on the t-bird?? it need it more then the other one lol
JFettig
06-11-02, 11:36 PM
im guessing its a testrun..... to make sure the thing works...?
adamtekh
06-11-02, 11:40 PM
this is a test run exactly
soon i will have a job so i can buy better parts for my beloved
t-bird
JFettig
06-11-02, 11:41 PM

adamtekh
06-11-02, 11:44 PM
well ill buy a inline pump the one that starts with an E
and a heator core , and ill be pelting this 200 mmx just for fun
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
adamtekh
06-11-02, 11:45 PM
but about about makeing the block i might make a alum pop can one , or just buy the gemini
JFettig
06-11-02, 11:49 PM
yea you have 2 very good choices there!(especially being the inventer of the popcanblock) lol
The Spyder
06-11-02, 11:51 PM
Popcan already been done.... look on the front page :-D
Spyder
adamtekh
06-11-02, 11:55 PM
i know its on the front page and i knew that maskedgeek invented it
and i know it would be no sweat to make
and the dif between an alu one an CU is .1 c/w
JFettig
06-12-02, 12:03 AM
yes very easy to make, and the cw diff is .01 not .1 a huge diff in that...
i suggest goop it all together, and not use epoxy.... goop sould hold better...
adamtekh
06-12-02, 12:09 AM
yes this goop stuff is great
I've got my 200MMX running at 300 Mhz also, but its still with air cooling, its in a similar case... I don't even know who it's made by.
Check it out HERE (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74803&pagenumber=2)
This CPU ran fine @ 266 with its stock HSF but with the HSF off my old K6-2 550 it runs stable @ 30*C full load.
Check the HSF on it!

i had the same heatsink, it is now ramsinks on a friends graphics card!
adamtekh: will you be making a waterblock like that one for you tbird? what is your current waterblock made from?
adamtekh
06-19-02, 10:21 PM
its made from and alum heatsink , i had the begining s of the batery afect since its alum and heat core has copper
now i just killed my 900 t-bird but fear not ill be geting my freinds 1.33 since hes getting an 1800+
i had water working then i had to remont the water block and i did it wrong , and it freid ( didnt crack core, it had a melt down )
here is a pic of 3 dead cpus , key chains any one ?
my cpu was the one on the left
adamtekh
06-19-02, 10:30 PM
oh yes going to water did help i hit 1151 completly stable and i hadnet fully tested the limits but it wouldnt boot @ 1200
and i have killed my temp sensor also, it now reads in negatives.
JFettig

it can be done and those looks like t-birds and duron.
i rma a 1.2 t-bird and getting it back sometime next week yi ha!!!
Im thinkin a kewlsville necklace ... with a thick silver chain :D
The sign of a true overclockin' geek !!!
adamtekh

that was 2x ARGA 900 t-birds ( 1 mine ) and a green core duron
i decided to play socor with mine and it cracked in half , i sold the other t-bird for 1$ and i still got the 800 duron
its just got some chips on the core from my bro inlaw trying to put on heatsinks
i allready made a key chain out of an old cryix 150+ gp so ill make the duron into something
