Dose anyone hava any idea when we should actually see Hammers available to the public, I'm assuming around 6 months. I'm dying to know because I've been waiting forever and I think I wana upgrade soon. Dose anyone think it's actually worth the wait or do you think I should settle for a new T-Bred.
I think it'd be worth the wait . . . if they release the Desktop Hammers w/ DCDDR. If not . . . Well, Barton looks good . . :D

DCDDR is dual channel DDR which if i am correct means its 128 bit, but i might be wrong about that.

nope you hit the nail right on the head with that one.
64bits x 2 channels =128bit
You will just have to install DDR in pairs like you had to with SIMMs for Pentiums and RDRAM now
You guys got it right . . .
Currently, the Hammers don't support Dual Channel. They pro'lly will a few months after release, which is really gunna kill AMD.

so is my Nvidea chipset at 64 bit or 128 since my ram and cpu does not support it

Hmm, I think that the nVidia Chipset works as 128bit when you have 2 sticks of memory in it.
It sounds like i'll settle with those T-Breds because I just herd that people have busted 2.1Ghz with a bran new T-Bred.
Since My main goal will be a very high FSB, I'm not to worried about CPU speed, but the more, the marier.
