If you went to a local shop and saw custom ANTEC 1000 series cases, painted one of 12 colors, with a full window, but no powersupply for $135- would you buy one? Im thinking of porducing these and selling them localy- i have a paint shop and the time-

Nah, the fun is doing it yourself.
But I think you'd be able to sell a few to noobs who are too lazy to make them on their own ;D

It's always easy to sell things to noobs at LAN events

I know I wouldn't. I wouldn't want a modded case unless I did it myself. But that's just me, I know a couple people that would. But if I were you I would take orders first and not just produce alot of them and hope somebody buys them.

I would not now of course as I have my 'baby'. I might have or may in some distant future as I am more into the performance end than the custom case and this would save me what I might consider a good deal of trouble. I assure you though that as I left the store the thought of more strategic cooling would be racing through my mind. Many, many would as indicated to me by both my sons and the cars I see running around now. In my youth the car was usually primered with six packs, 4.11s and sticks. They would fly. Today they have spoilers and little caps on the exhaust and pretty paint with neon lights. All show but you surely would not want a primered stock (built for kids) hemi roadrunner to pull up beside it. Get the idea, a lot of flash and the easy way is very popular these days. Before the youth flames me please do take a look around on cruise night. Ain't a whole lot of torque there.;)
