I just bought an Eheim 1250 today, luckily I found a distributor in Ottawa. First off the pump was, no kidding twice as big as I had thought but now I can't figure out what reducers I need to make it compatible with my system. I've been to the hardware store and they weren't any help. I need the hardware to convert the two sizes on the 1250 to fit 3/8" vinyl hose. I figure I'll order from danger den because they have entire kits your can buy.
My options are:
1/2 to 3/8
5/8 to 3/8
5/8 to 1/2
1 to 1/2

So which do I need? I'm guessing I need the first two.

And could anyone tell me how they ship and how long it would take to get here to Canada? I can't find any info on DangerDen.com. I need them quick so I can use my system and get off this laptop!
TIA!

I was just looking again and I don't know how anyone fits a 1250 inside their case, its huge! Looks like I'll have to mount it on top beside my res.

Danger Den shipps via UPS, but unless you get luck and they throw the parts in the box and ship it out the day you order (not likely) it will probably take atleas a week for you to get them.

Check your local hardware store and you should be able to find the parts you need.

I tried Canadian Tire today (aka Crappy Tire). I guess I'll goto Home Depot tomorrow, I bought a nice electical box which I made into a res there. They are a much better store.
