When i turn on my black light my digidoc5 says my CPU temp drops about 20 degrees and then just gets more random. The sensors are not near the light or the converter. Its a CCRT blacklight.

Its better now i insulated the converter with some MORE electrical tape and then wraped some foil around it and the digidoc is reading fine now.

There was someone that had to do that to his pump because his sound card was messing up- Good luck

When I put one of the sensor in my resevior.. my DD5 goes nuts.. I don't know why... it never did it before.. there is no electrical charge in the water.. it's really weird... I can put the sensor under the plastic resevior.. but not in it.. I used to be able to do this.. I tried all the sensors I had.. same thing.. even tried different spots on the DD5...

Is the pump in the resevior?

I was the same guy with the sound card issue. I fixed that though by selling my card and getting the extigy.

Do i pay attention or what?- The pump could be doing that- the coating on the magnetic housing wears away after a while and the EM sheilding is shot-

I have a probe in my res as well as 2 inline probes, whenever i turn my pump on or off my DD5 is reset. I was thinking that when I make the togle it releases a bit of current into the water and causes the malfunction. However I also hear a pop sound from my speakers when i turn the thing on or off so I guess it could be a sheilding issure also.
