non-golden sample gainward?

I went for the newegg deal on gf4 ti 4200 for 151...glad I did. But what I want to know is, does gainward test ALL their cards, and only give golden sample to those that do well, or is there a chance that mine just wasn't tested? I'd still like to OC it a bit...of course, for $151 I can't complain :D

Some of their older cards had regular and golden versions, but now the market is so competitive and the GF4 Ti cards are using the fastest memory anyway, so they're all called 'golden' now. Sometimes they do manage a 'true' golden sample, like the 3.5ns Ti4200, but for the most part they're just normal cards with the golden sample name.
