I am looking to buy a new AMD XP chip and mobo.

Computer HQ sells XP1800+ and Abit KG7-RAID motherboard for $200.

Is that a good deal? I haven't bought this kinda of stuff for a few years now.

If anyone has another web site that sells this or something like it for a good price, please tell!

What speed is a XP1800+ actually at by default? And what can it on average be overclocked to?

First of all check pricewatch then it seems everone like to get things from newegg also I did bussiness with them and was pleased. As for the 1800 the default is 1533Mhz. As for the average OC I t all depends on the stepping but IF I had to give a average of the overclock of them then I would have to venture to say around 1730Mhz.But there have been people that have got as low as 1620Mhz and as high as a little over 1800Mhz so it varies I can get mine up to 1789Mhz when it is cold in the room but 1690 is about the best I have found for this CPU over all for summer and winter time. being air cooled
