Hi guys....which do you all think is better...the 3200 at cas 2.5 or 3000 at cas 2. I'll prolly oc my proc to 150 mhz. Money is no option I just want the faster ram. If I knock the cas down on the 3200 will it be faster than the 3000 becuase it runs at higher voltage?

Thanks

This is where things get tricky! 3200 and 3000 are esentially the same ram, they are 2700 chips from micron or samsung. Corsair finds 2700 chips that OC well, test them at the rated speed and if they pass, they are badged accordingly. 2700 that fails the PC3000 rating may pass the 2700 rating and be sold as that. What I would do if I were you would be to get the XMS 2700, rated at cas2 as well. That is what I run and have gotten it to 200FSB with turbo settings, 2.9V. If you don't like that idea I would get the 3000 cas2, it will run at 3200 cas 2.5 but I don't know if the 3200 will run cas2 at 3000. Hope this makes sense!
