Regarding a Card

This is soooo wierd. My Brother got a PNY Geforce 4 TI4200. When He trys to overclock it the framerates on 3dmark go to hell. But when he keeps it stock it runs fine. He has a P3 933mhz-256 ram-30gig hard drive. WHY....?

What software is he using to overclock the card with?

It might have something to do with the CPU. It might just be a bad match between the sub 1Ghz CPU and the GeForce4. I avoided getting the same card because I of my specs and a rumor I heard about performace hits on sub 1Ghz CPU's.
