Subject says it all, Currently I'm running an 1100MHz PIII FCPGA (100MHz FSB) in a Slocket II in my Abit BE6-II. My question is, can I put one of the "new" Clelerons (the ones based on the P4 such as the clereon 1.7GHz or 1.8GHz) in my slocket II? Would it perform better than my PIII 1.1GHz? thanks....

no the new P4 celerons will not work in your current motherboard.

you might be able to put a Tualatin Celeron (1.0A, 1.1A, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) in your computer with a socket MOD

see here for details on the MOD http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67417
