Sblaster 16 makes crackling sounds in UT intro..

but no where else...and i noticed something....one of teh computers at my school has a SB 16 in it also and u can change the bass on it...but i cant?

any ideas why?

could just be because its a 16bit card

Might be you speakers to. If i turn up the output sound, you know the volum in the systray, i get probelms, if i leave it around 70% i can turn my speakers up as far as i want, but the output has to stay down.
