geforce 2 utlra bad score

I have a visiontek geforce 2 utra card that I bought not too long ago

I tested it on 3d mark 2000 and my score was 4018

well I dont know that much about cards but that I know is a little low

I just ran the default

when it goes though the tests its realy glichy.......

I have a new tbird 1.2 ghz
KA-266-r mobo
30 wd hd
and good cooling

does anyone know whats going on?

At the risk of stating the obvious:
Have you installed the AGP driver/patch from ALI?
You should be hitting over 8000 in 3D Mark 2000 default.

Even my GF2MX is able to get 4781 in 3DMark2000, so that score of yours is way too low for the Ultra GF2. THere is something not working optimally in your system for sure. Do more tweaking, I'm sure you will find out the cause of it.
