View Full Version : SetiWatch question
hey, is there a way to use seti watch to see mult. computers on a network?
Thanks
Yes it works quite well. The only problem is I lost my copy of it, and I searched the net and couldn't find it anymore. If you have a current url please post it.
I have seti watch but can't seem to figure out how to see my other computers?
ya, 4 stars baby!!!! sorry!
Only way I could get it to work with other PCs was to share out the folders that contained SETI. Once I did that it picked them right up.
This (http://members.shaw.ca/mloukko/SETIWatch.html) looks like the site for SETIWatch, too.
You have to share the drive on which seti is installed, and then manually add each machine that you want to monitor to the seti watch program.

it's a very good program to monitor the farm. i've been using it to monitor my home farm for awhile.
to run it, go to "options" tab, then "SETI location", then "add". borwse to the seti folder of the machine in ur network. also, if u r using any cache program like Driver, u HAVE TO check "using caching program" in order for SETIWatch to read the info correctly.
oh, yes, u'll need to share at least the seti folder on all machine in order to get access.
good luck. ;)
