which water block is better?

The swiftech mcw462-UH, or a dangerden maze3 with copper top? which is better, if those are easily beatable by another block, which waterblock easily beats them both, and whats its C/W compared to the 2 i stated?
i will be running the future block with a black ice extreme rev2(or whatever it is), and a via aqua pump for 370ish gph.

For a 1/2" system the mcw462-UH can not be beat. Everyone is so into the Maze 3, the Swifty is better. Another good option is the Gemini Spiral www.geminicool.com but again, I think the Swifty is the best.

If i ever purchased a block i would be getting the gemini... It performs well for its money!! but it is so much more fun to make ur own.

Im not sure anyone has gotten a coppertop maze3 yet. But I still would think you are best off to go with a swiftie, or spiral.

I was wondering if swiftech makes a copper version of their blocks, if not, could I just drill most of the way through a thick copper block leaving pegs and just cover the thing?

I've heard that the coppertop mazes don't really give that much better performance. But if you have the money why not?

That might work, there have been many threads about making waterblocks, just look for some of my CAD renderings, Infact I think there was one similar to your idea:
