--Need AC97 Help--

i have an 8k3a+ and the ac97 sound is awful.
every time i click on something that makes a load
it makes a god awful sound and then my entire
pc freezes.

like in CS, i click on a server to join, nasty sound the
freeze. does anyone else have this prob?
can anyone point me to the newest drivers?

any help would be great.

thanks, didn't think of looking there but i found nothing.
i went to another site and got the newest ac97 drivers,
and that didn't help. would new via 4 in 1's help?

Nope, the AC97 freezes alot of my games too. I just decided to disable it and replace it with a $12 sound card that works.
