SO my buddy came across a bunch of old comps from his dad's work that he isn't using, I haven't had a chance to look at them yet, he is going to bring one buy today.
He also found a couple of hubs and some LAN cord, so we want to set up a mini CS LAN.
HE dose however know that they are p2 233 MHz, :eh?: So I'm thinking they are going to chug,
I'm going to take a look at it and see if I can't mix and match some of the components with an old 400 celly I have.
Question, anyone want to give me a price on a really cheep minimum req. system I could build just for home LAN CS? I mean MINIMUM, case and ps won't need, no need keyboard or mouse don't need monitor.
I know CS calls for 233 MHz, but even still it chugs.
there is a fry's near by, i may just go get some stuff tonight, if anyone has some good idea's
EDIT: also anyone know how much or have a recommendations for a duel proc MB for two of the P2 233's?
