I am waiting for my unlocking kit, then once i unlock it what kind of speeds can i look to expect with my rig??? Also any overclocking experience/advice anyone can give me on my rig would be greatly appreciated (ie. which bios, ram timings?)

xp2000 (unlock kit on the way)
PAL8045U
epox 8K3A
2 x 256mb corsair pc2400 cas2
radeon 8500 (299/299)
western digital 40gb 7200rpm
winXP pro
enermax 431w
Hmmmm...what's the stepping of your processor? That matters in OCability. But, the mobo is one of the best IMHO (I have the 8KHA+ and I'm great satisfied). The RAM seems good. Corsair usually handles OCing well (as well as Crucial ;)). If you have any luck as I did with my WD 40gig, I had two data corruptions. I'm going to ditch that drive. I don't want my hdd to hold me back...
It's hard to get exact numbers, because OCing is pretty much chip specific....

Look on the core of the CPU, and it will tell you what stepping you have. The stepping on the CPU is everything.

Ok fine send it here. I will test it and tell you how high it can go. You pay shipping both ways.

I love my Agoia steeping I can get 1890 mhz( when it not too hot)
locked and 1.85 volts, although that is watercooled, I had it @ 1850 mhz with my swftech Hsf:)

it is the stepping of the processor, there are different types of xp chips and some are better than others for overclocking...i have read that the agoia and aroia are some of the best for overclocking. ;)

takes the hsf off of the chip and clean off the dye...look at it and about the 3rd line down i believe it will say the stepping in capital letters... exp. AGOIA, AROIA, AGOGA :p
