better finish?

this is my case. it was an old(extremely) gateway server case. i got it for free and since it was so big i used it as my case. i got sick of the off white color so i painted it black. the finish is kinda mirror, can i make it like glass?

it's sitting on nothing, thats part of the case (original color) that part is attached to the mobo, so i didn't paint it. I was wondering if there is a way to make it really shiny and mirror like. and can you wax and polish it?

yah that case looks exactly like mine. did you have to cut the back to make room for your mobo, i did. The thing was soo old that it had a really weird setup with serial ports and parrell ports. i dremeled off the part that said gateway on the front, looks better now.:cool:

i went over to my freinds shop and did an at to atx conversion

it now has a atx backing , i didnt like the looks of the chasy so i painted it black

edit: and oh yeah its a heavy mofo anit it ?

it is very heavy! i need those things that make stuff slide on carpet or wheels. then it wouldn't be so bad.

Q: do you think i should keep the strip of case inbetween the windows? i mean there is a bar there on the inside but it kinda blocks the view.

yes. id keep it... its there for a reason... probably to strenghten your case... if you cut too much away, you find yoru case wobbly and weak. who knows it may be hard to put your case panels on right and all. i could be wrong though... its why i took a lot of planning on designing my window in
my case (My Case .... the flames arent smaller on the right side just cuz... they are smaller cuz i dont like the looks of the sides of drive brackets and all, so i made it cut around them.

i took the bar out dosent seam to matter , just drill out the rivits
