Visual style?

Ok Im kind of new to this. I have downloaded StyleXP and I am able to change the look of my toolbar and all the window borders but my start menu still looks like normal. I want the fancy looking start menu and desktop icons like in the pics what am I doing wrong?

btw: Style XP has Visual Styles and Themes whats the difference?

you need to switch to the normal start menu. right click in your taskbar goto properties,startmenu. unclick the classic view. then the menu will take on the apperence of the style. you need to get your icons elsewhere
