I saw a detailed post here or another board where the guy put a batman logo as his case window, and used a blue light for further effect. What i can't figure is what people use for trim, it usually looks silver or gold. And do those lights plug in the same connectors as drives?

Welcome to the forums.
You'll probably have better luck asking in Alternative Modding. You'll get much more information, and the stickies at the top will help you out. Also, a search will get you plenty of information on your questions.
BTW, the silver trim is probably auto door trim, and you have to do some modifications to make some of those lights work.

For trim you dont have to use anything, but a popular
thing to use are trim pieces for car doors and such,
I am not sure exactly what they are called, but you
can find them at auto stores.

The lights normally will plug into the molex conector,
or directly into the 12v rail (red & black wires).
