ive been using the rheostats from radioshack, but they dont really do a whole lot. if i use a better rheostat like the ones that hoot has, will i be able to get lower fans speeds?
if the answer is no, then can someone give me a link to a thread on how to do a 7 volt mod?
thanks

how low do u want to lower ur cfm?? 7 volt mod is easy just hook up ur yellow wire from a 4 pin molex to the positive wire of the fan. and the ground of the fan to the red one.
yellow is 12 volt potential from ground red is 5 volts potential from ground. so potential differ between yellow and red wires r 12-5=7 geee i hope i made some sence.
