MAN, there are alot of people on this forum. i can't believe all of the
posts!
what is the current member standing anyway, i didn't see it?
i posted here first b/c i too own and operate a Intel processor, and
i have found these message boards to have the most interesting
posts. (it's close with the 'debate' board however...interesting stuff
over there).
i just read, a couple of dayz ago, about Intels future plans. most of
you porbably aready know (and i'm sure you will let me know it)
about there plans for the future. they say by the year 2005 they
will have processor speed up to 10GHz!! right now they are
experimenting with advanced hyper-threading, decreasing micron size
dramatically (transistor), and are in the process of purchasing a machine
that will etch carbon (instead of silicon) to dramatically reduce
(and improve) cpu performance. HEAT  however will be a great factor,
so they are also developing (modifying) peltiers and water cooling for mass production.
all of the information mentioned above is from maximum pc, intelz
website, and from word of mouth. (it's the word of mouth that i
am not sure of so if you know i'm wrong...let me know.)
