Just wiondrin whether or not the game was good enought to buy?

What other games whould i be lookin into?

seems like an ok game but a bunch of people got stuck with CD keys that dont work for multi player grrrrr. they are supposed to be mailing replacment keys but nothing so far and i got it the first day it came out.

sum of all fears is an ok game from what i can see. However, I think you would be better off going with rogue spear or ghost recon because Sum of all Fears has the exact same gameplay/features, and the other 2 games cost less.

I’ll second that! GR is cheaper and a great game. SOAF is basically the same game with different maps and weapons, but still fun. I have both now, and I think I’m having a bit more fun with SOAF than GR but that’s just me. I just installed the blood hack for SOAF, very nice.:p

I just got back from buying this game at circuit city (had a gift card:)) And I would like to change what I said above a tad. The sum of All fears is a good game, because unlike R6, this is a pickup and play game. THere is nowhere near as much planning or pre mission garbage to deal with. (However I like all that garbage--makes the game all the more strategic)

However it still remains that Ghost Recon is the #1 game to buy from REd Storm Entertainment

SoAF is a mix of Rogue spear and Ghost recon. Although i like RS/UO better, Soaf is still fun when you play at least 5v5.

I got both Ghost Recon (and the expantion Dersert Siege) and SOAF.... But the only reason i bought SOAF was to play the Maps in Ghost Recon. Ghost Recon is way better and is a great Online game. There is a mod out which now lets u play all the SOAFs maps in Ghost Recon, if u have both the games Installed...
