Just install the LG 16x dvd-rom and wanted to check out my favorite movie on my newly bought 19" monitor.(didn't need dvdrom, but it was only a few dollars more an the cdrom)

Anyhow I get this error when I try to play "The Crow" dvd.

MSVCIRT.DLL file is linked to missing export MSVCRT.DLL:??_V@YAPAXI@Z.

tHANKS for any help

meanwhile I'll try the other dvd I bought..."The Deer Hunter"

Looks like something isn't installed quite right. Try deinstalling then reinstalling your DVD software.

Well maybe if he told us if that's the only DVD that did that it would be much easier to figure out what's going on.

Well it plays fine..it just doesn't want to autostart the first time you pop a DVD in. Once it's been opened(powerdvd) and you watch a movie so long as you don't restart it then will autoload and begin playing. Now can't wait til next payday....buying a couch to watch the dvd's from :D
