Thanks

Well start by reading the beginners guide on the frontpage, it should give you a little brief introduction to what Overclocking is about etc.
List everything of your system components:
Mobo
RAM
PSU
Cooler
Those are really important when overclocking. Right now it is summer and overclocking is very limited at the moment.

Soyo Dragon Plus MB
XP 1900 AGOGA CPU
500 W PS , Thermaltake Volcano 7 ( I think) with Thermistor removed so it runs at full speed, Artic Silver fox
780 meg PC 2700 DDR Ram (Kingmax)
ATI Radeon 7500 64m All in wonder
Adaptec 2940W Scsi card
80 MM fan in front of case and a slot fan in rear to pull air out
Thats it
Thanks in advance

nice specs Pdwight, that should OC nicely... your board is actually capable of being on par with the Epox 8KHA+ - which many believe is one of the best oc'ing boards. i know a couple people who've had them up to 170FSB with air. now if you read those articles, you know now that as some would say ITS ALL ABOUT THE FSB!! :) so you want to see how high we can get that.. you've got good memory, and a high watt PS.. i would try starting at 150fsb with the most conservative timings avalible, and go up in say 2 or 3 incriments. after you top out there, start playing around with the multiplier on your chip, assuming that you're going to unlock it. do a forums search, you'll get plenty of info on how to go about it... not exactly an easy task IMHO, so i just play with FSB and vid cards to tweak... check out www.rage3d.com for some tweaks for that ATI card, although i'm not sure how the AIW oc'... i'll get back with some links to other sites if i dont pass out first tonight! gives ya something to start on at least. peace

Well first off you can unlock your CPU, which will give you access to different multiplier setting. Than lower the multiplier and raise the FSB as high as you can in small increments. And once you reach a unstable FSB (my guess is above 143, cause that's were my board goes unstable grrr) start to raise your multiplier in small incrememnts.
If you dont want to unlock, the only choice you got is to raise you FSB speed in the system Bios.
