NvCplDaemon error

i get this message when starting up:

Missing Entry: NvCplDaemon missing

or

NvQTwk missing (or something like that)


Whats wrong? i recently installed geforce tweak utility by the way and was overclocking and adjusting settings here and there.

it seems like the registry entries is lacking. i dont know whether they r from drivers or the tweaker. you may want to try re0installing the tweaker because that nvqtwq, or the driver too.

i am using 28.32 drivers with my Gf2 mx400

Have you installed a new version of DirectX?

yeah this must be due to the tweaker. check if you not have the colors settings to be applied at startup.
this is a known issue with some of the detonator versions, and it seems like the geforce tweaker not addressed the problem yet. by the way, if youve not tried with rivatuner yet id recommend you it. its a far better program than that one.

i did have the colors setting applied at startup, i disabled that now and everything seems to be ok

ill give rivatuner a try THX!:)
