Help P4 Box Letters!!!

First, Sorry my english are very bad please excuse me!

I am searching about on a "boxed" P4 CPU is there OUTSIDE any information about the plant (Costa Rica, Maylaysia or Indonesia)??

Can anyone help me?

Many times anything made in Malaysia has the marking on the label (side of the box). I don't think the Philippines ones do, and I'm not sure about the Costa Rican ones. If it is either of the last two you'll probably have to check the chip itself.

there should be a sticker on the side of the box with the details of the chip.
and were it was produced and what batch and etc,etc...

If I'm not wrong you can view and check the FPO# on one side of the boxed P4.

If the FPO# begins with '3' the CPU is made in COSTA RICA.

If the FPO# begins with 'L' the CPU is made in MALAYSIA.

If the FPO# begins with other character... I don't know.

My boxed CPU has the FPO#: 3209A330 (Made in Costa Rica).

Check the www.overclockers.com CPU OC database.

Nothing more...just what the others told you.

It's either on the sticker or on the cpu itself.

**By the way i'd like to hear more details for your system.
It seems we have a similar setup.
