Ati Aiw 8500dv

Just put this card in 64mb 8500dv, when running 3d mark as soon as I hit the nature scene regardless of stock clock ect....the screen breaks down in blocks and I have to reboot the PC to get rid of it. I have installed lastest driver from ATI. Never had this done as I also have a G3 TI200 with no problems. Any one have any idea how i can correct this to get a proper benchmark. Are there some settings that I have off. I also have the Rage 3d tweak installed. Thanks

Is it overclocked?

I had powerstripe on my system before and i oc'd the card and that happened to me. so i set the clock back to default and uninstalled powerstripe and it still wouldnt run correctly (it did before i oc'd it). i had to format/reinstall windows to get it to run correctly again.

maybe you could try uninstalling rage3d and if that doesnt help reinstall the drivers for the card.
