i need a new cpu want to overclock it , i have a epox 8k7a+ motherboard. should i go xp,duron or t bird. i only surf the web. mp3 and now and then rip dvd to divx dint want to get out dated but dont need the latest cpu either. i just want to fly

Get whatever your wallet says you can get. The xp1800 is a good balance between price and power. It's also overclockable easily with fsb but it takes a lil work to unlock it.

The XP 1600+, 1700+ or 1800+ are priced so low nowadays, I would suggest either on of them.

thats a good oc board isnt it? if so, get a nice newegg 1600+ for 53ish and oc the heck outta it.
