What is your upload speed if your using AT&T cable?? I run FTP server, and people can download from me 20-25KB (200-250Kb/s) on average. According to this >> http://help.broadband.att.com/faq.jsp?content_id=1746&category_id=7 we have 128 upload now, and it's going to be 256Kb/s. So, if I'm going to be updated Am I going to get 500???
Any ideas on this ??
Thanks.

Sorry, that was bad link, this is it>>>>
The AT&T Broadband Internet connection has been optimized for all users to ensure fast e-mail communication, Web surfing, gaming and multimedia downloading. Most users will not notice a difference in their service based on their Internet activities. AT&T Broadband upstream and downstream rate management provides fast and reliable service to all customers. Our goal is to provide consistent, reliable service for all AT&T Broadband Internet customers. This means that customers’ speed settings are set at 1.5 megabits (Mb) downstream and 128 kilobits (Kb) upstream (AT&T Broadband will be implementing a standard 256 kilobits upstream rate between May and September 2002) to ensure that all customers receive an optimized broadband experience. These speed settings are part of our continuous effort to provide customers with the fastest, most consistent broadband service at the lowest possible price.
Looks as if you already have the 256Kb to me...it is after May afterall.

I had 256 for long time
Still though, 256Kb is 256Kb...it's not going to give you 512 if they upgrade. Could be your area already had it.
I know when I had @Home they advertised a cap of 3Mbps and I was capable of more than triple that in the area I had it. Could be your CO doesn't have the same cap as other places or it was already upgraded when installed with the future intentions in mind.
