Geforce underclocks itself.

If i leave my card overclocked and my comp shuts the monitor off to save power the card underclocks itself to as low as it will go, and then wont refresh the screen after i wake if up. Any ideas.

Well , if its goin back to its original settings , then u have OC'd it to much, and the vid card can't handle it. Also try cooloing it some more with new HSF or fins

Just disable the automatic monitor shut-off function. Also disable standby mode (unless you are really scrapped trying to save electricity because you live in CA). Instead just manually turn the monitor off whenever you go AFK for any length of time. It's not too difficult once you get in the habbit of it.
