how to difference

im going to buy an ati radeon 8500 128mb full made by ati

the product is going to be delivered to me without the box (not oem. just without the box)


i want to know what other things should i get (without couting the card)

and if theres any way of differencing it with the LE version the non retail version (powered by ati) or the 64 mb version

i heard theres trouble with these things with guys selling things that arent what they are supposed to be

the only surefire way would be to look at the board and compare it to the one on the ati site. if the slightest thing is out of place, it's probably been tampered with.

another way would be to check out what the default clock & mem settings are with a radeon tweak program, but this could all be changed by flashing the bios with a retail bios. if that's done, the board will basically be a retail board (i have an le flashed to a retail...i flashed it). your best bet is to buy from a known company.
